But did they?' wrote Renuka Shahane, Salman's co-star from the hit film 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun', after the Bollywood superstar got an acquittal from the Rajasthan High Court in the blackbuck and chinkara poaching cases. Salman was among the eight accused, including his 'Hum Saath-Saath Hain' co-actors
Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre, for killing the animals which have been classified as endangered species.
Salman's acquittal comes approximately seven months after he was acquitted from another case (the famous hit and run). The Rajasthan High Court's decision has been earning flak from Twitterati but his fans are in rejoicing-mode.
