Renuka Shahane to return to acting with Akalpith

Actress Renuka Shahane who has been missing in action from Bollywood as well as Marathi films for a very long time will be seen acting along side Nirmiti Sawant and Mohan Agashe in the upcoming film 'Akalpith'.
Renuka says, "I did this film only for one reason and that is Abhinay Sawant. It was a mavshi doing a film for her nephew. Abhinay plays the lead role in the film. I don't really have a long role in the film."
Renuka plays the role of a psychologist in the film directed by Prasad Achrekar.When asked if this is her comeback film, she laughed and said, "I am not making a comeback or anything with this film. My kids need me for now and I am happy spending time with them. There are many actresses but my kids have only one mother. Also after getting married I was not very keen on pursuing acting."
