Ravindra Mahajani receives award on his son's behalf

The glamorous night Karrm Filmfare Awards was a night to remember for many. While some went nostalgic, for some it was a dream come true.
There were umpteen moments of glory and many wonderful performances, but a magical moment came when yesteryear actor Ravindra Mahajani came on stage to receive an award on his son Gashmeer's behalf.
Gashmeer won best debut male for his film 'Carry On Maratha'.
The venue reverberated with loud applause even as the proud father sported a benign smile who was a heartthrob in his heydays. Getting a bit nostalgic on this occasion he said, 'I received a Filmfare Award back in 1976 for my first film and here I am picking my son's award for his debut film.'
