Marathi cinema's popular actor-director
Priyadarshan Jadhav is well-known for his comedy films like 'Cycle', 'Maska', 'Choricha Mamla' and many more. Jadhav is currently rocking the headlines for his web show 'Baykola Hava Tari Kay,' which is released online on MX Player from today.
But despite his great command on comedy genre, the 'Maska' star insists that comedy is not his favourite genre.
While speaking exclusively with Etimes, Priyadarshan Jadhav said "It not focussing only on comedy genre. I can work on any genre. But to be honest, I am not comfortable working on the comedy genre. It is not an easy task. Because the coordination between writer, actor and director is very important in terms of humour. So, it is a very challenging process"
Talking about the show, Jadhav said "'Baykola Hava Tari Kay' revolves around a married couple (played by
Aniket Vishwasrao and Shreya Bugde) and
Nikhil Ratnaparkhi, who is playing a funny character in series. I am sure that viewers enjoy watching it"
Meanwhile, Jadhav is gearing for his Bollywood debut with the remake his Marathi film 'Choricha Mamla. While commenting on same, he said " the response from 'Choricha Mamla' was very overwhelming for me and my entire team. So, I have decided to make my Hindi debut with 'Choricha Mamla'.
