Known for films 'Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi', 'Dhamal Jodi', 'Beta', 'Hum Aapke Hai Koun' etc,
Priya Berde turned 50 recently. Needless to say, birthday wishes poured for the senior actress from all quarters. But what caught the everyone's attention was a sweet and heartwarming note from her daughter Swanandi Berde.
Expressing about her love for her mother, Swanandi took to her social media and wrote in Marathi.
In fact, Swanandi shared that writing in Marathi would make her mother proud. She wrote, "Today, you have completed 50 years of your life. On this golden jubilee celebration, I wanted to share something. I have always had an immense respect for you as a mother but now I have high regards for you as a person. You have stepped into the world of politics. I feel proud that you took this decision for no personal agenda but to simply serve the people selflessly and also to work for the betterment of people in the film industry. You have carved a niche for yourself and have come a long way. This is a huge opportunity and responsibility and I'm sure that you will fulfil your duties and come out in flying colours."
Swanandi went on to add, "After pappa (her father Laxmikant Berde) left, you never made brother (Abhinay Berde) and me feel his absence. You were always by our side; fulfilled all our demands. People assume that we were quite well do to when pappa died but we have seen your struggle and how you have killed your own wishes and dreams. We are really grateful for everything that did for us but it is impossible to put our emotions in words. Everyone knows how great was pappa, but you are even greater human being for us. I have learnt so many things from you. 50 is just a number. You will always be the most beautiful woman for me."
Swanandi didn't forget to thank actor Mayuresh Pem who helped her pen this heart-touching message.
