Prarthana Behere, her occasional visit to her parents in Baroda, Gujarat became her lockdown home. However, the actress who was stuck in Baroda for some time in Gujarat due to the lockdown, she finally drove back to Mumbai with official permission. The actress even tagged her husband on a post that she displayed on social media saying ‘coming back to you,’ when she started driving from Gujarat to Mumbai.
Though the actress stays in Mumbai due to work commitments, she keeps visiting Gujarat as her parents stay there. But it’s not just her parents that bring her back to the city every time, but she also has a special connection to Gujarat.
The
Pavitra Rishta actress doesn’t just have a parental connection to Gujarat, but she was also born and raised in there. She shared that she had spent her growing up years in the city and that it holds a special place in her heart.
Being a Gujarati by heart, Prarthana shares, “I was born and brought up in Gujarat, Baroda and my formative years have been here. I did my schooling and college here and I also understand and speak the Gujarati language. So, I have a special love for this city. Though I am Maharashtrian, I will always have a special connection to Gujarat.”
