She has done many plays and stage performances and got accolade for her work. Recently Poorvi Bhave performed

Margam

(one of the forms of Bharatanatyam) in an event. Margam is a dance which many people are not aware of and that is the reason why Poorvi and Dr Sandhya introduced this dance form to common people and tried to spread awareness about it.

Nowadays young generation is attracted towards western dance styles but Poorvi has a different view and according to her India has thousands of year old tradition of fine arts, classical/folk music and dances and it is necessary to preserve our classical dance forms.
