Dharmadhikari, who last directed National Award winning film 'Dhappa', is shooting for his next Marathi outing in the old Nagpur areas.

Deshpande. Interestingly, his grandson Rahul Deshpande will portray him on screen. However, Nipun refrained from divulging too many details about the project. He merely said, “We haven’t officially announced the film and it is yet untitled. All I can say is that it’s a period drama.”
He goes on to add, “It is true that a lot of biopics are being made these days. But I have been trying to make a film on this subject for the past five years. I feel there are many great personalities in Maharashtra whose stories need to be told. It is a good trend as people will get to know about their idols and learn a lot of interesting facts about these great personalities.”
Nipun who will be shooting the major part of the film in the city says, “I love the vibe of Nagpur. We will be here for more than a fortnight. This city has managed to keep its old world charm intact. I was glad that I didn’t have to struggle to create the set of a 100-year-old Nagpur.”
