Shriya Pilgaonkar made her debut as an actor recently in Ekulti Ek, directed by her dad Sachin Pilgaonkar.

But prior to that, Shriya was busy honing her directorial skills behind the camera. Known to be keen on learning the craft of filmmaking, Shriya assisted Megha Ramaswamy (writer of Shaitan) on an English film titled Bunny. Shriya loves directing and has had the opportunity to assist Sachin as an AD in the past. She will soon be co-producing a travel essay feature with American filmmaker Courtney Stephen.

With speculations that Nana Patekar���������s son Malhar will be launched as an actor, the boy surely seemed to know what is best for him. After assisting Ram Gopal Varma in the film The Attacks of 26/11, Malhar will soon be assisting his dad. Nana recently told us that his son will assist him on his next venture. He said, ���������Acting is a different ball game altogether and if Malhar is keen, he will act. But as of now, he is only interested in direction.���������

But having assisted Amol Palekar on five of his films, the talented girl loves the craft of filmmaking. Though she feels that her parents won���������t spoon feed her if she plans to take up the craft, she leaves it on herself to decide when she would like to take direction as a career. ���������I have worked on five films as an assistant director. Direction fascinates me but I am not sure if I take it up seriously. In the future if it has to happen it will,��������� she added.

Class 10th student Eera Patil, assisted her dad on the sets of his film 72 Mail. Rajiv shared that his daughter was very keen on learning the craft of filmmaking and would give inputs on the sets. ���������I feel she has a keen interest in direction. Let���������s see what she decides to take up when she grows up.���������

Sources say that Mahesh Manjrekar���������s son Satya and Atul Parchure���������s daughter will be making their debut in Manva Naik���������s upcoming film. The untitled film is a thriller.
