Smita tai was a good strategist

Actress Neha Joshi shares with TOI what made Smita Talwalkar special and the most love among the industry people.
Neha got her first break in commercial theatre through Smita Talwalkar. Neha went to meet her at the show of her play ���Kshan Ek Pure���. Coincidentally the producers of the play were looking for a replacement for a role. Smita suggested Neha���s name, Neha auditioned and bagged the part.Soon after Neha started doing the play, Smita offered Neha a small role in her daily soap ���Oon Paus���. Neha was new during that time and would often feel pressurized but Smita would put her to ease.

Neha has a huge respect for Talwalkar. Neha shared one of her experiences with TOI. She said, ���Smita tai was a very good strategist and never got confused in her roles as an actress or as a producer. I vividly remember this episode when my dates were occupied by the shows of the play ���Kshan Ek Pure��� and the production team of ���Oon Paus��� had not informed me about the shooting schedule. I got to know about the schedule from Smita tai. I got panicked because the dates required for the serial were the dates which I had committed to the shows of the play. But Smita tai was calm and said that I should continue with the show of the play. I was surprised because she was the producer of that serial. She clearly told me that the production team should have informed me well in advance and that they can���t take me for granted. She said that she will look into it in her way.���
