After winning the audiences' hearts with her performance in 'Yellow', its time for rejoicing in Mrinal Kulkarni's life again. The actress, known for her role as Son Pari, turned director with the film Prem Mhanje Prem Mhanje Prem Asta (PMPMPA) last year. At the Sanskruti Kala Darpan awards, the film was nominated in 8 categories and went on to win 4 awards including one for Mrinal.
She won the best debutant director award along with Surel Milind Ingle, Manisha Korde and Shrirang Godbole who won awards in the best debut music, best dialogues and screenplay, and best lyrics categories respectively.
'PMPMPA' had Mrinal acting in it along with
Sachin Khedekar,
Pallavi Joshi and
Sunil Barve.
