While talking about the film in a recent interaction with Etimes, Monalisa said "'Karant' is my first solo film and we are just waiting to release it on the big screen. The response for the motion poster was fabulous and people are commenting whether I am playing a grey character or the story of the film is based on adult humour. To be honest, there is no nudity in the film"
