'Me Aani U' inspired from Hollywood film

While Marathi filmmakers are known for taking inspiration from literature and plays, director Nitin Kamble has taken inspiration from a Hollywood film Just Like Heaven.
The director���������s next film Me Aani U has retained the original storyline.
Kamble reveals, ���������Even though, the storyline of the film is similar to that of the Hollywood film, we have tweaked it to suit the Marathi sensibilities.We have not exactly copied the film scene by scene.���������
Arvind Jagtap, who wrote the screenplay of the film, said, ���������I have not seen the original film. I just saw some scenes of it.���������
Incidentally, the Arjun Rampal-Vipasha Agarwal starrer Hindi film I See You was also inspired from Just Like Heaven.
