I have been inspired by Broadway shows. Such an act has not yet been seen in Marathi. This is completely different from natya sangeet. The music-o-drama has 10-min skits; the play joins many such small acts which, though unrelated, have a basic common theme, says Satish. Pravin Joshi, who has written the script, adds, With so many different art forms, it was not an easy job. The film clippings in the play show Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan. We have experimented with satirical, understated, black, situational and slapstick comedy, says Satish. The play features 32 songs andspecial attention has been given to the outfits. Experienced technicians have been roped in.
The cast includes actors Pushkar Shrotri, Neha Shitole and singers Dhaval Chandwadkar and Savaniee Ravindrra.
