Recently Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee opened the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Panaji, Goa. While at the event, the actor praised filmmakers whose entries were selected for Panorama this year.
Manoj was quoted by a media house saying 'I've been a fan of Paresh Mokashi (director of the Marathi movie 'Elizabeth Ekadashi' which was screened as the opening feature film of the section). I personally feel honored that I am given the privilege to sit in the front row with him and Shabnam (Sukhdev), whom I have known for more than 15 years.'
Manoj also added 'My journey of becoming a film actor started at IFFI in Delhi. I was more excited about the films which were screened at the festival than the money I got for my job. I would often sneak into a theater and watch some of the great films.'
