'Mann Fakiraa' to 'Goshta Eka Paithanichi': Movies of Sayali Sanjeev to look forward to in 2020

Marathi actress, Sayali Sanjeev became a household name with her performance in debut Marathi film 'Police Line -Ek Purna Satya' and soon there was a huge demand for the actress in Marathi film industry. Currently, the diva is set to bang 2020 with her back to back films.

Shantanu Rode's directorial 'Goshta Eka Paithanichi' title suggests the beautiful cultural handloom saree with its rich heritage of Maharashtra is surely intriguing as the title of any movie. Recently, the makers unveiled the first look poster featuring lead actress, Sayali Sanjeev.

Sayali Sanjeev is surely giving us goosebumps as she looks convincing in her character. It also features stars like Suvrat Joshi, Mrinal Kulkarni, Milind Gunaji, Shashank Ketkar in pivotal roles.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan had graced the Marathi big screen in 1994 in the film ‘Akka.’ Big B made a special appearance in the film alongside wife Jaya Bachchan for a song and it created magic for the film. He is now all set to return to Marathi big screen after almost 25 years. 'AB aani CD' is technically his second Marathi movie but a maiden one if a concrete role is considered, was announced recently. It also features stars Sayali Sanjeev, Akshay Tanksale and Subodh Bhave in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release in 2020.

Sayali Sanjeev and Suhrud Wardekar-starrer Marathi film, Daah: Marmasparshi Katha, will be releasing on Valentine’s Day on 14 February. Sayali and Wardekar have been acting in Marathi television serials over the years.

The film is helmed by the first time director, Malhar Ganesh. Produced under the banner of Yugandhar Creations and also produced by Aniket Rajkumar Badole. The film is slated to release on February 14, 2020.

Mrunmayee Deshpande's debut directorial 'Mann Fakiraa' featuring Suvrat Joshi, Sayali Sanjeev, Ankit Mohan, and Anjali Patil will be releasing on Valentine’s Day on 14 February. Recently released teaser from the film has already created a by buzz in social media. The short video gives a good look at the whacky and a quirky love story that is held together with love and heartbreak.

Produced under the banner of Purple Bullent and also produced by Smita Vinay Ganu, Nitin Prakash Vaidya, Om Prakash Bhatt and Sujay Shankarwar.

Suyog Gorhe and Sayali Sanjeev starrer 'Satarcha Salman' is rocking the headlines ever since the makers announced the film. The film 'Sataracha Salman' revolves around the story of a boy (played by Suyog) and his chasing dreams. Going through the teaser, the film has a tagline which says "Before your dreams can come true, you have to have those dreams". The story of the film is written by Hemant Dhome and he is also a director of the movie.

Produced under the banner Texas Studios and also produced by Prakaash Singhee. It also features stars like Sayali Sanjeev, Akshay Tanksale, Makarand Deshpande, and Shivani Surve in major roles. The film is slated to release in 2020.

'Basta' is helmed by Marathi cinema's popular filmmaker, Tanaji Ghadge who has worked on several films like, ‘Barad’, ‘Kon Aahe Re Tikade’, and series like ‘Brahmandnayak’ and ‘Saptapadi’. Recently the makers unveiled the motion poster featuring Sayali Sanjeev where the makers appeal the audience of Maharashtra to attend the ‘wedding’ across all cinema halls.

The release date of the film is announced as 20th March 2020. The motion poster is filled with wedding items and gifts in the backdrop and the title of the film has the wedding tiara called ‘Mundavlya’.
