Mahesh Limaye's birthday gift for wife

That 'Yellow' is a special film, is there for everyone to see but few know that there is another 'special' element attached to it now.
In the 61st National Film Awards declared on April 16, the film won a Special Jury Award along with Special Mention for the child actors Sanjana Rai and Gauri Gadgil. The win became all the more special for director Mahesh Limaye as his wife's birthday falls on the same date.
"I had planned a dinner with my wife but had to cancel the plans after receiving this news. That said, the day got more special for me due to this win. My phone hasn't stopped ringing since the time the news broke and I a glad that people supported and recognised this effort," said Mahesh.
Mahesh has done the cinematography for f various Bollywood films including Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion'.
