Hailing from Goa, her mother tongue is Konkani, but so far, the Lapandav actress had not acted in any Konkani film. Her debut in the language will be with a comedy titled

Janvoi No 1

directed by Harry Fernandes. The film is said to be about the tug-of-war situation between a Mother-in-Law and Son-in-Law. It is also said that the film will feature Varsha in many different looks.
