Kiran Shantaram felicitated on his 70th birthday

Chairman of Prabhat Chitra Mandal, Asian Film Foundation, V.Shantaram Foundation as well as well-known director, producer Kiran Shantaram was felicitated on his 70th birthday in Mumbai.
Legendary director Shyam Benegal did the honors on this occasion. Respected guest list included Dr.Jabbar Patel, Sulochana Didi, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Ashok Saraf, Govind Nihalani, Satish Shah, Mrs.Jyoti Kiran Shantram and Sudhir Nandgaonkar to name a few.
Kiran Shantram has taken forward the legacy of his father famous actor, director V.Shantram who has contributed immensely to Indian film industry. He has played the important part in contributing to the entertainment industry through many organizations like Rajkamal Studios, Plaza Theatre, Prabhat Chitra Mandal, Asian Film Foundation, V.Shantaram Foundation and Federation of Film Societies
of India. It was appropriate to acknowledge such great personality on his 70th birthday. Sachin Pilgaonkar who worked with Kiran Shantaram in the movie ���������Ashi'.
