'Kaagar' teaser: 'Sairat' fame Rinku Rajguru impresses as a politician

After teasing the audience with little sneak peeks from the film, the makers of the film released the first teaser of the film on social media and it's every bit engaging. Directed by Ringan fame Makarand Mane's 'Kaagar' teaser gives the glimpse of Rinku Rajguru's personality from the National Award film, 'Sairat'. Even though the role seems to be completely different than 'Sairat’s Archi, it indeed reminds you of the character.
The video footage shows an unfortunate love story, where the male lead is seen dying, who supposedly belongs to a political family. Later Rinku’s character is seen taking his place and get into politics unexpectedly. Madly in love, Rinku is seen giving political lessons to her lover played by actor Shubhankar Tawde. Amidst love and politics, a strong character played by Rinku is well placed. Within no time the teaser was seen trending on the internet.
Rinku underwent a major makeover for the film and the work for the film started around February last year. Directed by Ringan fame Makarand Mane, the film will also see ace actor Shashank Shende play a prominent role.
Makarand Mane's directorial 'Kaagar' is produced under the banner of 'Udaharnarth' and co-produced by Sudhir Kolte and Vikas Hande. The film is slated to release on April 26, 2019.
