Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. After 360 years, the teaser of film JungJauhar based on the event is launched by director Digpal Lanjekar.
After the grand success of ‘Farzand’ and ‘Fatteshikast’, this is the third movie based on the life of unsung heroes from the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by writer-director Digpal Lanjekar.
‘Almonds Creations’ of Ajay and Anirudh Arekar, has produced this film.
The Jungjauhar team with good planning, the director and his team managed to complete the remaining shoot in just four days instead of nine day. They finished shooting just a day before the restrictions came into effect. Then Digpal had said, “Marathi films do not have luxury of extra budget and we couldn’t afford to waste time and money. So, we decided to complete the shooting in one day itself. As per our schedule, we needed nine days to complete our shoot, but the advisory on restriction of film shoots came in and we started thinking of alternate ways.” Also, the team completed other work during lockdown with Work from Home basis. And finally, in unlocking stage after permission the dubbing of the film was started couple of weeks ago.
Along with
Mrinal Kulkarni and
Chinmay Mandlekar there are another 21 actors who will grace the screen. Chinmay will be seen essaying role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. However, the team has kept the surprise who will play the Bajiprabhu Deshpande and other characters. Since childhood we have been hearing about the astounding battle of Pavankhind, The expectation of watching the battle on the screen is mind blowing.
