Marathi celebs, Sai Tamhankar, Pooja Sawant, Bhagyashree Mote, Tanvee Kishore and others have reacted to the death of a pregnant elephant in Kerala.


Reportedly, this cruel incident occurred at Malappuram in Kerala after she was fed with a pineapple stuffed with firecrackers by the locals.


Along with common netizens, several celebrities from both Bollywood and regional cinema have reacted on the elephant’s death on Twitter and Instagram handle.


Sharing this news, Pooja Sawant wrote, "We certainly don't deserve this earth. Animals trust us for a cause and here we break them into pieces. Shame on you Kerala. Kerala's high literacy rate couldn't save two innocent lives"
