About that he tells “I am thankful that audiences will now see a different side of me through this movie and open a new arena of roles. I always wanted to play a character like this, but I did not want to ask for it. I would prefer if a strong role came to me rather than me approaching for it, and that’s what happened when I got a call from Swwapnil Joshi about acting in the film. Along with the director Rakesh Sarang, they decided that I was perfect for the role of Shamrao. I had no second thoughts to it and immediately said yes to it. It was as if I got what I wanted, through this film and acting in it.”
