Kulkarni’s alleged linkups have been doing the rounds for a while. However, speaking to us, Sonalee puts the speculations to rest. She says, “I was really angry with people spreading rumours about my so-called linkups and wedding! If it happens, why would I hide such an important announcement?”
In a first, the actress also confesses that she is in a steady relationship. “It’s only natural to fall in love and I don’t mind admitting that I am in a steady
relationship
and a happy space,” she shares.
Ask the Hampi actress about her beau and, without revealing much, she replies, “He is not from the film industry. Most of the industry men are either married, engaged or already in a relationship. I can’t divulge more details about him right now, but I will reveal his identity when I’m ready to take the next step. There will be an engagement, followed by a wedding, but I have not set any time frame for it yet. It will happen when I’m ready.”
On professional front Sonalee hadn’t shot for any major film last year, but this year looks promising for her. “I have three back-to-back releases,” says the actress, adding, “I’m playing the protagonist in director
Saurabh Varma’s
action thriller
, and I’m fine-tuning my
kickboxing
skills for this project. Besides this, also I have a historic saga and a political film lined up. So, I am happy and content professionally too.”
