Joshi recently underwent a precautionary COVID-19 test after his co-star Abhishek
Bachchan
tested positive for coronavirus last week. Joshi had dubbed in the same studio where
Abhishek went for his dubbing session. Now, 'Deool' actor has confirmed that the test has come out negative.
Sharing the news with his fans, followers and industry friends, he took to his social networking site and wrote that his tests have arrived and he has tested negative. In fact, he expressed his gratitude towards everyone who prayed for him and wished for Abhishek's speedy recovery. Needless to say, the news brought much relief to his fans and well-wishers.
Also, a few days ago, another co-star Amit Sadh too tested negative for COVID-19. He too thanked his fans and followers via his social media. He wrote, "Thank you for your prayers and concerns. This is the only time I say happily I am negative. To all people battling this, my prayers and thoughts continue. Love you. Togetherness is the only strength (sic)."
Last week, apart from Abhishek, his father Amitabh Bachchan, wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya has been tested positive for coronavirus. Informing the same on his social media, he wrote, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for
COVID
19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you (sic)."
On workfront, Hrishikesh's Marathi play titled 'Mogra' was digitally launched recently. He has written and directed the play.
