After directing socially relevant and critically acclaimed Hindi films, including 'Ardh Satya', 'Aakrosh', 'Drohkaal' and more, director Govind Nihalani is all set to venture into Marathi films.
Nihalani's last film was 'Dev' in 2004 and this venture marks his comeback after more than 10 years. The director is familiar with the language especially because most of his earlier films had Marathi actors or were adapted from works of noted Marathi writers like Mahesh Elkunchwar and SD Panwalkar.

But this is the first time that the 75 year-old director is actually foraying into making a full-fledged Marathi film.

The film features Sonali Kulkarni, Subodh Bhave and Bhushan Pradhan among others. Speaking about his role, Bhushan said, "I play a dominating husband in the film and it's absolutely different from the lovey-dovey and action roles that I have essayed so far. Plus, working with Govind Nihalani and the talented cast is a bonus."
We tried to reach Nihalani but couldn't get through till the time of going to press.
