In a recent interaction with Etimes, Gauri opened up on her character in the film, she said "Gautami is a very responsible woman. She knows what she wants. She is very attentive, sensitive and knows when to react and when to not. She consoles her husband and supports him at every step. She is a very strong woman and that is the hardest part because I am very sensitive. I was not sure whether I will able to pull this off. But Nikhil made sure he took out that strong Gauri to play a strong character like Gautami.
