FTII alumnus wins laurels in 56th Maharashtra state awards

alumnus Nachiket Waikar, who has directed Marathi film Tendlya has bagged two

awards

at the 56th Maharashtra State Film Festival awards declared recently.
This film, which is yet to release, also had four nomincations in various categories. Nachiket has studied Diploma In Film Editing (2008 Batch). This is his first film as a director and editor. It is not just Nachiket, the entire technical team who has worked on the film has studied from FTII. The award function is expected to be held on May 26.
