Exclusive! Vishal Furia celebrates 3 years of 'Lapachhapi', says 'It's a film that changed my life'

'. On July 14, the release of the film completed three years of its release.


The filmmaker took to his social media to celebrate the third anniversary of his successful film. Vishal shared some throwback pictures from the set of the film and described what 'Lapachhapi' meant to him and expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the film’s cast and crew and his fans.


Talking about the same in an exclusive chat with ETimes, Vishal Furia " 'Lapachhapi'was my first Marathi film and its film that changed my life and I believe, every one's life, who worked on the film. We went through a lot of struggles to release this film. It is not easy to get a producer for a film which is a Marathi horror"


"A small film became big due to the sheer sincerity and honesty of everyone who put their blood and sweat in it," he added.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Vishal is all set to helm the Hindi remake of the Marathi horror film 'Lapachhapi'. Recently, the makers took to their social media handle to reveal that

Bollywood

actress Nushrat Bharucha will be playing the lead in his upcoming horror film 'Chhori'.


Apart from this, Vishal's upcoming second Marathi horror film 'Bali' features Marathi cinema's chocolate boy Swwapnil Joshi in lead. The film is slated to release soon.
