Siddharth Jadhav's 2010 film '

Irada Pakka

' is by far one of the popular Marathi films till date and today this film completed 10 years. Despite the years that have rolled by, the film and its characters still remain household names. Among these is the character of Rohit, played by Siddharth Jadhav was very much appreciated by the audience for his stupendous performance opposite Sonalee Kulkarni.

While speaking exclusively to Etimes, the 'Simmba' star Siddharth Jadhav has congratulated the entire cast and crew and expressed his gratitude to filmmaker Kedar Shinde for this wonderful film.

Siddharth said "I am very happy and grateful to Kedar sir to giving us this film. I was known for my comedy films and 'Irada Pakka' was not comedy film and I still remember Kedar sir was looking for an immature couple for his film. I was very happy when he chose me and Sonalee Kulkarni as lead pair in the film"

"I am very excited and especially very happy because the film not only did well 10 years ago but it's still doing well. We are getting repeat audience every time and we see people are still watching it on the television. This film was a big boost to my career. I couldn't have asked for more. I am very thankful to an ever-increasing audience of cinema-goers for showering their love and blessings" Siddharth added.

While sharing his experience on working with Marathi cinema's 'Apsara' Sonalee Kulkarni, he said "Sonalee is one of the best actresses in the Marathi industry and we did three films together. 'Bakula Namdeo Ghotale' directed by Kedar sir was her debut and it was first time shared the screen together. 'Irada Pakka' was very important for us and it was the second film. Sonalee as 'Adhya' had performed very well and the audience appreciated her performance. Now, after 10 years, we shared the screen for the third time as a couple in Sameer Vidwans' 'Dhurala'.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddharth's upcoming Marathi film 'Lagna Kallol' directed by

Mohammed Burmawala

is scheduled to release this year. He plays a key role in the film alongside Mayuri Deshmukh and Bhushan Pradhan.

Apart from that, Siddharth will also be seen in Mahesh Manjrekar's '

De Dhakka

2' which is a sequel of a blockbuster film 'De Dhakka'. It also stars Makarand Anaspure, Shivaji Satam and Medha Manjrekar in key roles.
