Vipin Patwa, who has given music for films such as 'De De Pyar De', 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' and 'The Girl On The Train', has made his grand debut in
Marathi
cinema.
He has composed songs for a Marathi film titled 'Chabuk', directed by
Kalpesh Vasudev Bhandarkar
. Happy to foray into Marathi cinema, Vipin said, "I feel extremely delighted to have got an opportunity to work in the Marathi industry. Artistes are quite sincere and honest, the industry is doing really well. The audience is quite receptive and appreciates artistes, so it was only an honour to compose Marathi songs."
From classical rendition 'Anant Pravas' to rap titled Bua, one could see a great variety in the film's album. On this, he says, "I have composed the music with almost honesty. I have even sung a number titled 'Anant Pravas'. The songs have a connection with the culture of
Maharashtra. Since I am new to the industry, I made an effort to understand the nuances of the emotions portrayed in the film's story. I had a lot of fun composing the songs. They are situational and play an important part in taking the story ahead. I hope the music lovers like them."'
'Chabuk' stars Sameer Dharmadhikari and Smita Shewade in lead roles.
