Monalisa's sizzling look in 'Karant' is very different from her roles in any of her previous films. The actress who played a lead role in Karan Tandale's Perfume' says that the audience will see me playing a matured role for the first time.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Monalisa Bagal said 'Karant' is my first solo film and we are just waiting to release it on the big screen. The response for motion poster was fabulous and people are commenting whether I am playing a grey character or story of the film is based on adult humour. To be honest, there is no nudity in the film"

Talking about her character, Monalisa said " I like to choose a work which has a substance in it. In all my films, I have been playing teenage characters and I don't want to continue this. And I don't want to repeat what I have been doing. When director Anup Jagdale sir approached me with the script of 'Karant' and he said to me that I am playing a lead role and its a very different character. So, yes, the audience will see me playing a matured role for the first time"
