From being part of Marathi films to bagging an important role with the biggies of Bollywood in 'Malang' actor
Amruta Khanvilkar has been receiving praises from various quarters. Amruta has delivered back to back hits with Bollywood films, 'Raazi', and 'Malang', says that she didn't choose the character but this character has chosen her'
In an exclusive interview with Etimes, Amruta said "I am very happy that I get to work with such great directors like Megna
Gulzar and
Mohit Suri.
And I think this character which I have portrayed in Bollywood films have chosen me. I played a Muslim girl in 'Raazi', then I played a simple catholic girl in 'Malang'. So, as normal actors, I just keep going for auditions and when I like that character than I say, Yes. But these roles have chosen me, I have not chosen the role"
While sharing her experience from the auditions during 'Raazi', Amruta said " I still remember the audition of 'Raazi' and I really like that audition because of Megna Gulzar. She really loved my audition and she appreciated my audition when I met her next day in Dharma office."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Amruta Khanvilkar will be next seen in
Priyanka Tanwar's 'Well Done Baby'. She plays a major role in the film opposite to
Pushkar Jog. The film is slated to release this year.
