Exclusive! 'Hirkani' fame Prasad Oak on his journey as an actor-director: I took every challenge with the right spirit

actor Prasad Oak

is currently prepping for his third directorial film, 'Chandramukhi'. While speaking exclusively with Etimes, Prasad Oak revealed that the 'Kaccha Limbu' star has been waiting for 'Chandramukhi' copyright from last 12 years.

Prasad Oak said " I had read the novel of Vishwas Patil's 'Chandramukhi' 12 years ago and wanted to direct a film on the novel. I know Patil from the last 12 years and I had worked with him in the theatres. So, finally. he gave the copyright to us recently to make a film on the same name."

While speaking about his journey as an actor-director, Prasad said "I came to Mumbai to become a director. I used to meet a lot of people to get some work in the industry. I got a chance to act in the theatres and televisions. Later on, I got the opportunity to direct the film on heart-touching content, and I feel lucky about it. So, yes, I took every challenge with the right spirit"
