Like every other person in the film industry, Bollywood and Marathi cinema's popular actress Amruta Shubash too was shell-shocked to hear the news.
Expressing her grief, Amruta shared "I have not only worked with her, I think whatever I am today she has made me. I can't express in words that what all things she has thought me and what I owe to her. I know Bhave since my school days and I did my first short film 'Chakori' in 1993. This was my first screen presence. She took me to all the film festivals. She taught me what good cinema is. We did 'Astu', which was honoured with
National Award"
"Beyond all this, she taught me the language of cinema and love for cinema. I am very fortunate to have a guru like her. So, it's very big to lose for the Marathi film industry." Amruta added.
