While speaking exclusively with Etimes, Akshay said "I am playing a role of villain for the first time. Yes, I have done comedy and was also part of a thriller film but I never got a chance to portray the role of villain in any of my films. So, I got what I admired for"

"The film is helmed by a Telugu filmmaker Bhaskar Ramagupta, who will be making his debut in Marathi industry. I think this will be the first Marathi film which will be releasing in the Telugu language as well. Akshay added.

Speaking on film's content, Akshay said "It is a typical Telugu film which romance, thriller, revenge and comedy as well. The film's shoot will begin from October 3 in Pune"

The film also sees Shubhankar Tawde and Parth Bhalerao in lead roles.
