Director Viju Mane's next ‘Pandu’ goes on floor

Director Viju Mane who has given interesting and varieties of films like Shikari, Monkey Baat, Rege among others started a new year on a positive note as his next movie 'Pandu' went on the floor recently.
Sharing about the film director Viju Mane says, “Pandu is a family comedy film that draws humor from the quirks of its vintage yet refreshing characters. I am sure we will be able to create an entertaining narrative for our audience.We are elated to be back on film sets. As a filmmaker, it is going to be one of the best and memorable experiences of my career and I hope the fun we are having on set translates on screen.” From the name of the movie, it is clear that it will be on police personnel, and we are curious to know the star cast which is yet to be announced by the production house.

Happy with a fresh start of 2021 with this movie, Mangesh Kulkarni, from the studio that is backing the film is also positive about the project. He adds, "We are immensely happy to be back on sets and to see the sheer commitment of the entire cast and crew of ‘Pandu’. It is a brilliant script with an extremely talented cast and director attached to it. Looking forward to bringing this film to our audiences. As there are already many movies on the subject police personnel and their family members like ‘Police Line' and ‘Sentimental’ among others, it will be interesting to see this family comedy movie based on the subject.
