Director Sachin Sasan accuses veteran star Sayaji Shinde of fraud; Report

Veteran star Sayaji Shinde who has impressed one and all with his performances in films like 'Aboli', 'Sayaji Maajhi Maanasa', 'Babanchi Shala', among others, has been accused of taking money from director Sachin Baburao Sasane and not working on his film.

According to reports, filmmaker Sachin Sasan had signed Sayaji Shinde for his Marathi film 'Ginnad'. The actor was signed at an agreed amount of Rs 5 Lakh. The shooting was all set to start on November 25 and 26.

The report further stated that Sayaji was not available on the scheduled dates and the movie could not go on floors. It was postponed to November 27.

The filmmaker revealed that he was surprised when Sayaji asked him to change the script on the shooting day. He refused the offer, which infuriated Sayaji. Outraged by the fact that Sachin is not conceding with his demands, he decided to walk out of the movie.

The 'Babanchi Shala' actor supposedly also said that he will return the fee taken for the film. The report further added that filmmaker Sachin Sasan has to suffer immense financial loss after Sayaji left the movie, and the actor is not returning the money as well.

Now the filmmaker has demanded that Sayaji should return his fee, that is, Rs 5 lakhs also bear all expenses for the loss he suffered due to his ouster from the project, amounting to Rs 17 lakh.
