However, she is often subjected to uncalled-for scrutiny too, especially with regards to her relationship with husband— Umesh Kamat. The actress who was nominated in the Jio Filmfare Awards (Marathi) 2018 for her critically-acclaimed performance in 'Gachchi', attended the ceremony held in Mumbai without Umesh.The actress was asked multiple times why Umesh was not present with her to support her.
With a bright smile, Priya shuned the rumour mills with a perfect answer. "Umesh has always shown his love and support for my craft and I don't need to tell this to the world. He is on a break now and sometimes, breaks are very important in a marriage to keep the romance alive," says Priya with a smile.
The actress was looking every bit gorgeous in a stunning gown as she sashayed the red carpet with grace.
