'Chandramukhi' trailer: Glimpse of Amruta Khanvilkar and Addinath Kothare's brilliant performance will get you all excited for the film- Watch

Marathi cinema's ace filmmaker Prasad Oak has released the first trailer of his much-awaited Marathi film 'Chandramukhi'. While the previously released teaser and a few songs from the film have caught everyone's attention, the trailer has taken this experience to a whole next level, and needless to say, it's worth the wait.

The three-minute-fifteen second clip begins with an aspiring married politician (Addinath Kothare) is trying to bring some positive change in society. He falls in love with 'Chandra', (Amruta Khanvilkar) a beauty who drives many crazy with her captivating beauty, hurtful performance and daring dance.

So the impact on his political career and the storms in his personal life we see in the trailer. Everyone is curious about the future of this love triangle of Chandra, Daulatrao and Damayanti (played by Mrunmayee Deshpande).

While speaking about his film, filmmaker Prasad Oak said "This story is very powerful. It was only when I decided to make this film that I was convinced in my head who would play this character. Therefore, each character is fit for his role. Everything in this movie has been done with a lot of thought and its grandeur will be seen on the screen"

'Chandramukh'i is adapted from author Vishwas Patil’s Marathi novel of the same name. It also stars Mrunmayee Deshpande, Dr.Mohan Agashe and Rajendra Shisatkar in pivotal roles.

Directed by Prasad Oak, the film is set to be released in theatres on 29 April.
