The actor, who played a constable in the erstwhile blockbuster Marathi film Pandu Hawaldar, will now be a part of this modern-age satirical black comedy, based on a Mumbai cop. Saraf said, Playing a cop has always been lucky for me. The iconic

Pandu Hawaldar

gave me all the recognition and made me a star. I played a constable in 'Singham', in 2011. Though the role was small, it was appreciated. I am looking forward to playing a cop in a Marathi film after 40 years again.

The film, that also has Mahesh Limaye (of National Award winning

Yellow

fame), as a DOP, is in the second schedule of shooting. It is a dark comedy, based on human relationships and also stars Upendra Limaye and Raghuveer Yadav. We will be shooting the rest of the film in North India, shared Sameer Patil.
