Amruta is Shreyas' leading lady in Baji

After much speculation, the makers of the Marathi film 'Baji' have revealed that actress Amruta Khanvilkar will be seen as the leading lady opposite Shreyas Talpade in the superhero flick.
The makers say that Amruta will have a role wherein she will get to explore her acting prowess like never before. Suhrud Godbole, producer of the film, said, "Amruta was our first choice for the film and we are glad to have her on board.She is known more for her dancing performances, but surprisingly no one had tapped her acting potential yet. We are confident that she will surprise everyone with her performance in 'Baji'."
'Baji' is the first Marathi superhero film and will be directed by Nikhil Mahajan.
