Marathi film actor and director Adinath Kothare, whose film Paani won the National Film Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation, recently took to social media to raise awareness about wastage of water over the coronavirus scare. The actor took to Instagram to remind people to not to waste water while washing hands to keep coronavirus at bay.

Paani, directed by Adinath will feature Subodh Bhave, Kishore Kadam, Adinath Kothare and Rajit Kapoor as lead characters.

Paani is inspired by the true story of a man living in a village named Nagdarwadi, which is located in Maharashtra’s drought-prone Marathwada region. The film will present a “tale of human struggle and true love, and aims to drive home a key message, critical to the world we live in today.
