(where he plays Dilip Vengsarkar) already in his kitty, the actor-filmmaker has made a comeback of sorts to the big screen.
Now, we have learnt that Addinath has bagged another big Marathi project which is being produced by
Madhuri Dixit-Nene
. Titled
Panchak
, the film went on floors recently.
Madhuri had briefly also put up a small video of the mahurat clap on her Instagram account. The video was later taken down and from what we hear, this was done because the official announcement is going to be made soon.
While more details are awaited, a source close to the development tells us, “The film is a multi-starrer with Addinath in the lead. Many known actors are also associated with the project. This will be Addinath and Madhuri’s second collaboration.”
The duo’s first collaboration, 15 August, had a digital release, but Panchak, which marks film editor Jayant Jathar’s directorial debut, is being made for the big screen, informs the source. Jathar has previously been associated with acclaimed films like Kaccha Limbu, Natarang and Family Katta. What needs to be seen now is whether Madhuri will stick only to the producer’s role or will be a part of the cast as well.
