Yes, you read it right! In a recent interaction with Etimes, Vaidehi said "Basically, I am

and I started learning kathak when I was in class seven and I was always been into it. I don't come from an acting background or had any passion for acting. But I accidentally got my first Marathi film when I was 17-year-old. I came to know that I am enjoying this and I probably might like to do"


"After that, I did a lot of experiments and I got several opportunities to try my talent in shows and ads. Meanwhile, I continued my acting career in the Marathi industry. Eventually, I realized that this is what I want to do in my life" Vaidehi added.


Vaidehi's last release Marathi film, 'Ani...Dr Kashinath Ghanekar' was a biopic of the legendary stage and film actor, Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar which was helmed by Abhijeet Deshpande. The film did well on the box-office. Vaidehi played a major role in the film alongside Subodh Bhave. It also featured stars like Sonali Kulkarni and Prasad Oak in key roles.
