, directed by National Award winning filmmaker Sachin Kundalkar. The movie is all set to hit the big screen end of this year and the hazel-eyed actor sports a brand new look in the film.
Talking about his character in Sachin’s next film, Chirag says, “My role in Vazandar is quite unconventional. The audience will get to see me in a never been seen before avatar. I can’t reveal too much, but all I can say now is that I had to really tone up my physique for the role. I had to wake up at 4am for workout and running regimen along with my trainer. I used to run several kilometres a day to get in shape for this role.”
The film also stars Sai Tamhankar, Priya Bapat, Siddharth Chandekar and Chetan Chitnis in major roles. Speaking about his special friendship with Sai, he shares: “Sai is very close to me; I’ve known her for eight years now and worked in three films with her. She is my best friend in the industry.”
Ask him how was the experience of working with a National Award winning filmmaker like Sachin Kundalkar and Chirag replies:“Sachin sir is a consummate professional and an absolute sweetheart. But on the sets, he’s a no-nonsense man.”
