Story: Madhav guruji, a well-to-do teacher, goes to a small village with an aim of educating children there. However, his efforts initially go in vain as the children have no interest in studies.Review: While attempting a movie on a social issue, there is a risk of over simplification of a complex topic. Be Eke Befalls into this trap.Madhav Guruji (Sanjay Khapre) takes it upon himself to educate a village which lacks basic facilities. The children are least interested in studying and pull pranks on him. But Madhav is determined and finds a way of getting the kids interested. He starts teaching them using some games and gradually gets them into a makeshift classroom. On paper, this is definitely a good topic. However, the film falters in execution. Many instances in the movie could have used a lot more research. For starters, why would a teacher teach students from a village surrounded by a forest about animal sounds? Moreover, the kids are not KG students to be learning this. The film also suffers in its narrative. Too much time in the second half is wasted on lessons, making it look like an educational programme. Sincere efforts from actors Sanjay Khapre and Arun Nalawade are wasted. Ultimately the film becomes one that could've been a good watch had the treatment been better.
