Story: At the behest of his ailing grandmother, a clarinet player agrees to find a suitable bride for himself. He falls in love with Babita, but her uncles is against the match. Do the lovers unite?

Review: The movie opens up with Santya taking his ailing grandmother (Jyoti Subhash) to a hospital. Despite her illness, all that she can talk to him about is his marriage.
Santya tries the arranged-marriage route and meets a few girls, but he doesn't like anyone. Then he meets Babita (Mansi Pathak) and falls in love with her. As their marriage is about to be fixed, Babita's uncle calls it off saying Santya is a mere instrument player in a brass-band. But the two are now madly in love. To make the relationship work, Santya vows to become a big man and come back to ask for Babita's hand from her uncle. Does he succeed?
From the first scene, director Rahul Ovhal ensures the audience is gripped. He weaves the story well and even small scenes bring out the best under his guidance. The cinematography and music are apt and not only complement the direction, but heighten your movie-watching experience.
On the acting front, Jyoti Subhash is at her best as usual. Youngsters Chetan DK and Mansi look good together and deliver convincing performances.
If you are a romantic at heart and want to watch a love story, Tattaad can prove to be a good option this weekend.
