Plot: A comedy of errors arises when love and lovers get mixed up. As plans after plans are made to remedy the situation, the fun just never stops

Review: Yes, Siddharth Jadhav is the Marathi industry’s most loved comic actor and director Manoj Kotian relies on him and comedian Navin Prabhakar’s comic timing to strengthen his film’s feebly written script. So, we have small time conman-turned-astrologer Popat Navre (Siddharth) and an interior decorator Pankaj (Navin) whose paths cross due to Popat forecasting Pankaj’s love life. They hence land up at the bungalow of the girl Rupa (Smita Gondkar) whose heart Pankaj beats for, even as Popat falls for Sangeeta. However, an inspector called Padmakar (Vijay Patkar) is out on a mission to catch the conmen who fool rich girls with the promise of marriage and lands at the same bungalow in a bid to foil the plan of the lover boys, till of course he meets Heera, (Priya Berde) in the same house and Cupid strikes.

However, there is comedy of errors at play when there is confusion as to who loves whom, and as the situation is tried to be corrected, there are, expectedly many humorous moments. The only problem? They are sprinkled all over the film and no cohesive force binds them. So, while the lead actors do their jobs very well and the audience laughs at their gags, it’s all seen there heard that stuff.

While the songs are pretty average, the lead actors Siddharth Jadhav, Navin Prabhakar and Vijay Patkar have to be lauded for some scenes where they have done exceptionally well - the proposal scene, the fake suicide scene and the spiritual baba scene - to name a few. And when you see them do such a good job, you know this film could have been more fun and exciting. Premacha Jhol Jhal has comic stars in the lead, so you know the film’s gonna be funny. It’s how this fun is woven around a script that matters and that’s where this film fails to hold the audience’s interest.
