Marathi film Dashakriya shines at Cannes Film Fest

’ which recently won three National awards created a new record recently. The film got an overwhelming response at the

Cannes Film festival

. The special show was organised by Maharashtra Government, when the team of ‘Dashakriya’ film was also present.

, the film talks about the evils of the caste system portrayed through the odyssey of a young boy. The film stars Dilip Prabhavalkar, Manoj Joshi, Aditi Deshpande, Milind Shinde, Milind Phatak and about 150 child artistes who made their debut through this film. Other films that made to Cannes are Prakash Kunte’s Cycle; and Take Care Good Night, directed by Girish Joshi.
